I've shot photos since the 1970's and have deleted photos since the 1990's!I was captivated by photography via college and onsite workshops in CA.&FL.I enjoy shooting wildlife,travel and nature scenes in interesting light.I developed a real passion for shooting birds when I was sheltering at home during the pandemic.Participated and won in several local ,national and international contests.I've strived to turn ordinary subjects into extraordinary shots.Workshops in Monterey,Yosemite,and the Eastern Sierra motivated me to seek more travel opportunities after retirement.Expedition boat trips to Norway and Galapagos helped me to refine skills for shooting land and seascapes and capturing wildlife in remote locations. A private tour to Costa Rica produced exotic shots of birds,reptiles and amphibians.Gained an appreciation for travel and culture while touring in Japan.I enjoy sharing and teaching basic photography skills.Looking forward to leading local photography trips in small groups and the art of seeing beyond the obvious .Hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed creating them.
